About Us

Veterinären på Söder is a cozy and well-maintained small animal clinic with a dedicated team passionate about animal health and strong client relationships. We offer a broad range of services including internal medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Our clinic manager is a board-certified ophthalmologist. The atmosphere here is family-like – we take care of each other just as much as we take care of our patients. We are proud of our close relationship with pet owners and the trust we have built in Östersund and the surrounding area.

We are part of the Swedish Veterinary Group, a larger association of veterinary clinics and animal hospitals across Sweden. We collaborate between clinics, helping each other with everything from professional advice to further training. In addition to physical and digital training within the group, collaboration also includes observing (auscultation) with the group's distinguished experts and specialists in various medical fields.

We are looking for a newly graduated veterinarian

We are currently seeking a newly graduated veterinarian who wishes to grow and develop alongside two experienced veterinarians at the clinic. With us, you will get a secure start to your career, with close supervision and the opportunity to gradually build your clinical experience at your own pace. You will work broadly within small animal care – from consultations and surgery to advice and preventive healthcare – alongside experienced colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge.

We believe you are curious, engaged, and have a genuine interest in learning and developing long-term within the profession. You value good contact with pet owners and want to contribute to the clinic's excellent team spirit.
